Reservations must be in writing, using the Application For Use Of Campus Facilities provided by Bakersfield Christian High School. No phone reservations will be accepted.

BCHS facilities are primarily for the use of the student body and their activities. The school facilities will be made available for rental to groups in the community. However, these groups are to understand that changes in school schedules may cause previous arrangements for the use of facilities to be rescheduled or cancelled.

If the renter cancels, a 50 percent refund will be made provided cancellation is more than 10 days before the event.

• Reservations may not be reassigned or sublet to any individual or group.

• Extended hours may incur additional cost - Use after the hours specified on the application will be billed at 150% of normal rate.

Consumption of alcoholic beverages, smoking, gambling, profanity, or unruly behavior is prohibited at BCHS at all times. These activities are grounds for immediate cancellation of our contract, without refund if rental has been paid.

Decorations must be pre-approved. BCHS must approve decorations in advance. Decorations may be attached using blue masking tape only, and must be removed immediately after the event by the group renting the facility.

A security deposit may be required to rent a facility. The security deposit may be reduced accordingly to cover expenses due to clean up or damage associated with use of the facility. The security deposit, in its entirety or reduced amount, will be reimbursed within 21 days. Recurring groups may make a one-time security deposit however, if BCHS must use the deposit to repair or clean the facility, a replacement deposit is required for the next rental. The individual or organization granted use is responsible for reimbursing BCHS for any and all damages to the property caused by such use.

You must be 21 years of age or older to rent BCHS facilities.

The organization or individual is responsible for the cost of cleanup associated with the activity. Cost of custodial services and cleanup will be added to the contract.

Use after the hours specified on the application will be billed at 150% of normal rate.

Liability insurance must be on files with BCHS. A Certificate of Insurance naming BCHS, as co-insured for the rental date(s) must be on file with BCHS. Liability insurance must hold a minimum coverage limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence, $3,000,000 annual aggregate.

There is no loitering on the BCHS campus. The renting groups or individuals are to ensure that students, participants and/or spectators are not loitering in other areas of the campus before, during or after the event. All traffic laws are in effect on BCHS roads and parking lots.

Payment of rent for events is due one week prior to event. Rent for field practices will be billed monthly.

Under any circumstances BCHS reserves the right to refuse rental.
