Graduation Requirements
The course of study at BCHS is aligned to admission requirements at four year colleges and universities.
Most students, however, go beyond these minimum entrance requirements, completing more than the required number of credits within a required discipline and taking advantage of BCHS’ Honors Academy and/or the numerous Honors and Advanced Placement courses. The richness and depth of our curriculum is visible in each and every one of our departments, with the strength of our program measured in the remarkable success our students achieve in their academic endeavors. This success is evidenced in the following displays of academic excellence:
SAT and ACT scores are higher than both the state and national averages.
The most recent AP exam pass rate of 73% cleared the state and national averages by nearly 20 percentage points.
Acceptance rates to college after graduation are consistently near 100 percent.
Students are being accepted at highly competitive colleges and universities.
We invite you to explore our Departments & Curriculum page to learn more about who we are and what we teach. In doing so, we are confident that you will find an aggressive and stimulating program for your student, which will not only prepare him or her for post-secondary education but inspire a lifetime of learning.
BCHS is equally committed to bringing the knowledge of Jesus Christ and the truth of scripture to prepare students to engage their culture from a Christian worldview. It is out of this commitment to academic excellence, which honors God, that the individual character of our students develops, thus producing behaviors that nurture a healthy school culture where students can soar.
