At Bakersfield Christian High School, we believe that investing in a quality education is an investment in your child's future. As an independent school not affiliated with any church or denomination, BCHS relies financially on the funds we receive through tuition and fees, coupled with fundraising efforts to deliver exceptional academic and extracurricular programs for our students.

This fee reserves the student's place in their class. (nonrefundable, but is applied to first tuition payment)

Annual fee for all students. Funds designated for repairs and replacements within the facilities. (nonrefundable)

Annual fee for all students. Includes BCHS issued iPad/cover, insurance, ALEKS and various academic license fees.

Students are responsible for purchasing their own books. The cost will vary depending on the classes and availability of digital/used books.

IAP Students
This is not included in tuition amount. Price will depend on the year.

Private lessons may be required for students participating in the band program. There is a rental fee for BCHS instruments. Lesson fees are determined by, and payable to the instructor.

Amount: $190/Month
On campus academic assistance program. Students receive extra instructional support in small group tutoring sessions. Specially trained educators support and encourage students on a regular basis in their academic studies by using teaching strategies which will provide the student with the tools necessary to succeed in the classroom and ultimately in the college environment. Students may be required to participate based on academic achievement.

Amount: $225 football; $200 cheer; $175 all other sports
Fee for participating in after school sports. Maximum of two fees per student or four per family, per year.
In addition to the Athletic Fee for the respective sport listed above, $100-$200 per sport may be required for spirit kits and/or athletic practice uniforms at the start of the season.

The Eagle Cafe offers a variety of hot and cold foods, homemade cookies and other goodies, fruit, and snacks for our students and staff members to purchase throughout the day.
Prices vary per item. Daily lunch specials are $7. Menu is posted on the parent portal and Eagle Eye.

The following fees apply for the current school year: $60 per month ($30 one way) - Application must be received by the first day of school in order to ride the bus in September. We will process ACH payments beginning September 5.
